If you are booked for a procedure because of symptoms or for surveillance (for previous polyps, cancers, etc.), we recommend that you not change your booking.
If you are booked for a colonoscopy for screening purposes only, then it is your choice to re-schedule
ALL PATIENTS COMING IN FOR PROCEDURES MUST BE SCREENED ONLINE AND IN PERSON ON THE DAY OF YOUR PROCEDURE
PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND THE CLINIC IF :

- you have had any contact with a COVID-POSITIVE patient in the last 14 days, or anyone with a COVID test pending
- you have any fever, runny rose, itchy eyes, cough, headache, shortness of breath
- you, or anyone in your household is awaiting a COVID test result
Currently, most pre-op and post-procedure
visits are being completed either by telephone or video conference.
Typical information security standards have been adapted for the pandemic response, and we continue to provide new consultations and patient follow up visits, all via remote means. Our staff continue to work arranging tests, facilitating referrals, and receiving new consult requests. Telephone contact remains crucial, so please ensure we have more than one up-to-date means of reaching you. Distribution of requisitions for imaging, microbiology and bloodwork will be through .pdf attachments to email, and so
we will requesting and email from all patients.
